Orusa
Community and care for women navigating menopause.
Orusa is a social platform built for menopausal women — a space to find community, track symptoms, and feel less alone in a transition that too often goes unspoken. We took over the project mid-build and brought it to a polished, published release on the Google Play Store.
- UI redesign
- Real-time WebSocket integration
- Multi-language support (i18n)
- Persistent auth
- Play Store deployment
The project had stalled with a previous developer. The client needed a team that could pick up an existing codebase, improve the design significantly, and ship — without losing momentum or scope.
We collaborated with the original UX designer to refine the interface and introduced real-time story updates via WebSockets, multi-language support with i18n, persistent login, and Firebase push notifications. The app shipped to the Play Store on schedule.
